Aleksi Aubry-Carlson began playing electric and acoustic guitar at the age of 11. Beginning with Ehat Musa and François Leroux, he perfected his skills with Mathias Desmier and Pierre Chaze. In 2002, he joined David Lampel's class in classical harmony until he graduated.
He went on to study with Jean-Michel Bardez, and also began organ and improvisation studies with Denys Mathieu-Chiquet. At the same time, he studied orchestral conducting and orchestration with Henri-Claude Fantapié.
First and foremost a composer, he worked for United Colors of Benetton at its Fabrica multimedia center in 2001. His work with Carolyn Carlson, Sara Orselli, Alessandra Ferrarri and Alberto Casarotto has enabled him to work in the dance world. Since 2006, he has been regularly composing music for Internet media, commercials, short films and video games.
